How a course is taughtThe same shape in every programme, whatever its length.
A written lesson each week
A course runs for between one and ten weeks, set by the college for that course. Each week sets out its topics and what you should be able to do by the end of it.
Read it or listen to it
Every lesson comes with a narrated version, so a week can be studied at a desk or on the road.
An assessment every week
A short quiz closes each week and is marked straight away. Your lecturer sees the score and how far through the course you are.
Course material sits behind the student sign-in, and nothing is put in front of a student until college staff have read it and approved it.
